Comparison
ActiveOps alternative: what to compare, and what to ask.
If you are comparing JC360 with ActiveOps — WorkiQ, or the wider operations management suite — you are looking in the right category: both are built for the operations functions of banks, insurers and healthcare organisations, where the work is transactions and the question is what each one costs. This page is written to be useful during an evaluation rather than to win one.
Where ActiveOps is strong
ActiveOps is one of the longest-established names in back-office operations management, with a broad footprint in banking and insurance. If you run a large operations function in either, there is a fair chance you have already met them, and that history is worth something in an evaluation.
A comparison page that cannot say one good thing about the other vendor is marketing, not analysis. What follows are the questions worth putting to either product — ours included. Teams usually find one or two where the answers separate cleanly.
Five questions to ask either vendor
Ask both, and ask for the answer in writing. These separate the two products faster than any feature matrix, and you get each vendor’s real answer rather than a competitor’s summary of it.

Does capture start on its own, or does someone press start?
Anything that needs a person to start and stop a timer produces data with holes in it, and the holes are not randomly distributed — they cluster on the busiest days, which are exactly the days the number matters.
JC360: JC360 captures automatically from login to logout. No manual start/stop, no timesheet to forget. Offline activity is collected and reconciled on reconnect.
-
What is the unit of measurement?
Active versus idle tells you somebody was at their desk. It does not tell you what a claim costs to work, and cost per transaction is the number a P&L actually moves on.
JC360: JC360 reports handling time per transaction type, timing per process step, capacity per team and cost per outcome.
-
Which certificates do you hold — and may I see them?
There is a real difference between holding a certificate and following a standard’s guidelines. Ask for the document rather than the claim, from everyone including us.
JC360: JC360 holds a GDPR readiness certificate and ISO 27001 certification, and provides both on request. What it does not hold is below.
-
What is in the base price, and what is a separate module?
Per-module pricing looks cheaper at proposal stage and stops looking cheaper the moment you need the second module. Get a full-scope number from each vendor before comparing anything.
JC360: JC360 is one bundled price with every capability included.
-
Can it run where our teams actually work?
On-premise is a hard requirement across a lot of banking and healthcare operations, and mixed estates are the norm rather than the exception.
JC360: On-premise or cloud, across Windows, Linux, macOS, VDI and shared desktops.
Where JC360 stands on compliance
JC360 holds a GDPR readiness certificate and ISO 27001 certification — certificates, issued and available on request, rather than a statement of adherence to a standard. Ask for both; they are sent as a matter of routine.
It is deployed with employee notice and acknowledgment, and it can run entirely on-premise, with nothing leaving your estate. Between them those two facts answer most of what a banking or healthcare security review is really asking.
If SOC 2 sits in your review as a formal requirement, put it on the table in the first conversation and we will tell you exactly where things stand. It is a short answer and it is better had early than late.
The fastest way to settle it
Run both against the same process for a fortnight and compare what each can tell you about one transaction type. Measurement products are unusually easy to evaluate this way: either the number is there when you ask for it, or it is not.
- GDPR readiness certificate
- ISO 27001 certified
